    How does on-site optimization work?

    Hello,

    What are the basic requirements for on-site optimization. I have read that tags and keywords are really important. What else?

    Yes meta tags and meta description is very important in On site Optimization. is Vital to your SEO Efforts. Each Page need to have a Unique Title that accurately describe the content containing in that pages.
    Reason : Page title is important because this is what will be displayed in the result section of search

    On page is a very important seo factor...Without on page it's veru difficult for rank No 1 in search ranking....

    Yes, tags and keywords hold great importance. Other than that:

    - Write fresh, unique content
    - Develop a strong internal linking strategy (Proper anchor text)
    - Include a sitemap
    - Improve page loading speed
    - Optimize images and videos properly

    Apart from meta title, description and keywords tags, there are also header tags (H1 to H6), Alt Tags, Content for that particular page and few other things are there into on page optimization.

    You should do an analysis of your niche and keywords to choose right before creting content

    Create really good on page content such as blog posts and articles. Even several short excerpt style articles on the same page is preferable to no content. Just be sure to incorporate your keywords well. Keep in mind the more words you have in an article, the less likely it will look like you have too high percentage of keywords. Google loves words on a page, especially when they serve the reader. So make use of that.
