Using a VPN instead of private proxies for Scrapebox

I am getting pretty poor results with the free proxies. I have an account with VyprVPN which gives me an untraceable ip address, what I want to know is, can I use this to mass post comments on blogs instead of paying for private proxies?

It works, I just tried it out. What I am a little unsure of is does it matter if all the blog comments come from a single ip? Or is better to spread over 10 private proxies? If I use the VPN to havest URLS I soon get my ip banned from Google so can use the free proxies to harvest but I'm getting around 10% success on posting compared to around 70% using the VPN.Any thoughts/advice gratefully received.

Yeah, one option is to just not use proxies but to instead anonymize your entire internet connection with the use of a private VPN like the one you mentioned or HideMyAss (or one of the others out there).

In many ways it's much more convenient because you dont have to keep updating the proxies in your app, and also you can transparently become anonymous with ALL your online activities.

The draw back (for me) is that there are a lot of uses I have for proxies in scripts I run on external servers - so I use proxies for those (can't use HMA for those).

But yeah I think that might be a good route for you.

wouldn't a VPN IP become banned and blacklisted quickly rendering the entire VPN useless?

Is there a way to scrape hidemyass ip proxies in SB?

A VPN would probably not - if its being constantly updated with new proxies. It depends on how large of a pool of IPs it has. And AFAIK you can't take the proxies from HMA and use them in SB.
