Why would you do that? To convince potential advertisers that you have a heavily trafficked site? Couldn't you just use auto surf for that? Assuming you weren't using adsense in which cause don't do it cause it's against their TOS.

Faking traffic to one's website is not done only for ego-boosting reasons ("look how many people read me, ma"), but also for profit. Here we try to show some examples and clarify some myths.
Many new bloggers, who start on the principle “if you build it, they will come”, might be misguided into thinking that all the bloggers who boast several thousand visitors / day are actually getting them. The sad reality is that almost all such visitors could be fake and furthermore, you cannot really tell, as these sites do not usually publish their stats. Even if they did, you’d have no way of telling if these stats were “doctored”.

Guys dont do this for generating Adsense revenue.. Google is a Billion dollar industry and they employ nerds 1000s highly paid and qualified :P just to keep such things away.. i mean it might work for a while but eventually they will catch up and you will lose your site and your adsense account.. click fraud is not really the best way to go lol..

Hi everyone,
"
Fake traffic" is a term used to describe visits to and/or clicks on a parked domain that are not in line with Sedo's complete Terms and Conditions and Rules for Domain Parkers. Fake traffic includes all visitors to a parked page that do not reach the page through natural or organic means. Natural/organic traffic comes from direct browser type-ins or uninfluenced search engine traffic.
Thanks a lot
