lol, I know that feeling it's pretty quiet for me at the moment and even though I have offered to invite more friends over many are not even interested in moving away from facebook. Hopefully when it gets out there more and more start to use it we will feel less alone

It's not going to be easy competing with facebook, might also be another failed project. What about orkut is that around? I don't remember if I have an account there. Google might also think of merging orkut or at least using the traffic from it.

You are giving a great idea to google !
But still I think google will not merge it, as this kind of tactic might make google plus loose its shine.

I'll agree with you on this point. Merging Orkut might not be a good idea. It will look cheap. Google must be wanting a fresh start thus they launched Google+ .
