Thread: What do you think about iPad?

The look, the feel, the convenience. Convenience meaning easier to carry around than a laptop but still with a big screen. I have never owned an Apple product, but the iPad may be the item that I take the plunge for.

You are right about that. They do look very nice and would be convenient. They have the new display out as well which make their screens look even better.

may be that's just the question of fashion for such things, many people buy all these gadgets just because their friends have the same...

The iPad had something like 300,000 sales the day it was released. Crazy. I wonder what all these people are doing with it? I can't think of one thing that I could use it for to help me with IM aside from typing content, but the keyboard sucks!

Is the Slate still going to use Windows 7 or did they switch to the new HP mobile OS that they recently bought?

True! Someone I work with the other day said they wanted one just because and they can't even afford to spend money on that right now.
