Horrifying Experience In Forex, Anyone?

In any kind of investment, there would always be the seesaw dynamic between winning and losing. While we would bask in glory during winning days, we also have to prepare to deal with the negative effects of losing.

As far as Forex trading is concerned, I honestly am so afraid to deal with it simply because there is no system that could ever guarantee a winning sweep every time. I know that Forex sites are promoting their programs as if they are the most perfect traders in the whole world.

Yes, we can make big money but we have to be careful in dealing with the risks involved. If you have a horrible experience with Forex, please share it here.

I'm the same as you. I want to get into Forex but I am scared of it. I don't think I know enough about it yet to jump in.

I have never dealt with Forex. Sometimes I am too scared to try something new so I do not do it.

How about trying a carry trade where you earn interest every day on your position. Over several weeks or even months you can hold the position and often make up for any losses as long as the high interest currency does not fall off a cliff.

I seriously speaking was looking for some good forex brokers and would like to get into this and rtry my luck but yet i m afraid to invest and take risks. can someone share there success stories with forex

One of my worst trading experiences was during the Bank of Japan intervention. During the Bank of Japan intervention I lost a large portion of equity. The pair rose several hundred pips in minutes!

I have done it for 4 years 24/7, lost everything I had - there is no way to win in Forex - it is exactly like playing in casino - the longer you stay in there - the more you loose. Because of the excitement/gambling effect!

I would not compare trading to casino, but it is definitely not for everyone

If you can't take losses, stay away from it, because even if you will be in plus in long term, you will lose money very often. Do not forget that you trade against professionals that do nothing else and have much more information that you do. Anyway, if you think it may be for you, I recommend to begin with a demo account (there are dozens of companies that offer it) and only if you manage to make some demo profits, open an account with real money. It is different with real money on the table

forex is risky
but sometimes in life you have to take risk to succeed
otherwise you just can be like everybody else ...

Well, it happen with me. One year ago I have invested 100US$ and do profit of 700$. Then 3 months before I have invested them again and go for holidays for some days. When I come back I lost 600$. Profit comes to 100$.
