    Domain Aliasing

Anyone know Domain Aliasing? I have this option on my web hosting. But wasn't sure whats the use of Domain Aliasing. Does anyone here know what's good on Domain Aliasing?

I think it's basically just redirecting domains to one site. This would prove beneficial if you registered a bunch of domains like mydomain.com mydomain.net mydomain.org and they all pointed to mydomain.com

Addon domains? I thought they were more liked parked domains. Addon domains point to a directory in your domain, not to your domain.

They're basically just redirections. A lot of hosts offer it.
