Thread: The End of file-sharing?

I've recently downloaded few files from there server..

Awesome! I have downloaded some files from them in the past and it took such short time. I was worried they might have been affected by new laws.

I find Uploading slow for my connection. Filesonic is still far the best that I have used, apart from the usual MegaUpload and Mediafire.

And that is why i think megaupload was major reason for there shut down..

MegaVideo is always a part of MegaUpload. And most of the time, before downloading a full video, people do watch a bit of it on MegaVideo first.

Weren't they shutting down Filesonic? Or, maybe they were involved in that investigation?

Well, Filesonic is still there. It's just they are not a "file sharing" site anymore. Those who upload the files were the only ones who can download it.

Too bad I got a 1 year premium on that site.

Filesonic is almost of no use !
As now it is used in restricted mode, by restricted mode I mean only user who has uploaded his/her files can download it.

Didn't really used my money to avail that. I merely used the points I accumulated on the downloads from my files in exchange for that premium account.

So, what happened about the money you accumulated via filesonic ? Are they releasing funds now also ?
