How to prevent Google Chrome from crashing

Some third-party software can cause Google Chrome to crash. When this happens, you'll see the message "Whoa! Google Chrome has crashed."
You can type "about:conflicts" into the address bar to see whether you have any software or malware known to cause Google Chrome to crash.
    Solutions

You can try to fix these crashes by updating, disabling, or uninstalling the following software:

    • Safe Eyes Parental Control Software
    • ContentWatch
    • Microsoft Office XP Input Method Editor
    • Naomi Web Filter
    • Trusteer Rapport
    • Hide My IP
    • Venturi Firewall
    • PPLive

There are more specific steps for resolving crashes caused by the following software:

    • Internet Download Manager
    • ESET NOD32 Antivirus
    • iS3 anti-spyware (STOPzilla)
    • NVIDIA Network Access Manager and NVIDIA nTune
    • WinMount
    • FolderSize

Many crashes are caused by malware. If you're experiencing frequent crashes, try scanning your computer with antivirus software.
