AMD Phenom II X4 940 Black Edition

What you think about this processor? From what i know is one of the best there is available on the market for games as it's very powerful.

It's frequency of 3000 Hz will make it very good for gaming, even though the price is not so low.

"The AMD Phenom II X4 980 Black Edition processor brings a new level of speed to the Phenom II X4 series. Like all of the AMD Phenom II processors, the Phenom II 980 Black Edition uses a front side bus of 200MHz; this particular processor, meaning the Phenom II 980 Black Edition, uses a multiplier of x18.5. This combination of 200MHz bus and x18.5 multiplier gives the AMD Phenom II X4 980 Black Edition an impressive speed of 3.7GHz! If we look back at the original Phenom II 940 Black Edition we can see that it came to the party at only 3.0GHz. In the last 2+ years AMD has increased the speed of the Phenom II X4 processors 700MHz which is nearly 25%! "

It looks top of the line as far as processors go. Is it too powerful to see the true potential of it right now? I'm not sure what games on the market could test this processor's capacity wow.

I actually upgraded for one of my customers the CPU to an AMD Phenom X4 940. It works pretty good. I was quite impressed with the performance, but is still an AMD.
